Hi! I am just back from Ljubljana, via Zurich. It was snowing!!! They had to spray vapour on the wings b4 we left to melt the ice!!! Never seen it b4!
Spent 4 days in a monastery in Celje, with two Internet points for 50 people.... GREAT! Also great that my team was awarded a prize for a piece of work we submitted (out of 4)!
So I had to made the effort of receiving the prize on behalf of the group ... trying very hard to look my best in a red dress and matching earrings!
Share the news with Antonya if it will cheer her up, she is such a sweet girl, always happy for your successes!
Back to base, is there a plan for Antonya going home? I have to book flights and wish to book them accordingly.
Hi everyone. Antonya had her second session of chemo on Thursday at the Western - she was away for most of the day so you can imagine how exhuasted she was. She had her Mum and Tara there with her which was nice. Today she was very tired as she did not have a very good night's sleep due to lots of activity in the ward. Tomorrow is her birthday so I am taking in a cake and I am sure she will have lots of visitors to spoil her a little. Congratualions Marina on your prize - told Antonya the good news and she is very happy for you. No news about when she will be getting home as she needs to get things set in place and it seems to be taking some time.
Hi there everybody. Well done Lisa in posting photographs you are obviously a very experienced blogger. The party looked great and although exhausted afterwards Antonya said enjoyed it very much and how fab it had been
I saw Antonya again yesterday (Monday 19th) and she was looking very well. She got a little tired so I left her to get some sleep before the evening visitors arrived. Considering the Chemo she is just doing so well which is so typical of her.
